I recently listened to Steve's lectures on Luke, and I believe he said something along the lines that the NT writers were not simply "taking dictation" from the HS. They wrote about what they witnessed directly or were told by someone else. Of course they had the witness of the HS to also guide them...

i guess your a only klv person then Holy mackeral no! Not sure where you got that idea. Some folks- atheists mostly- use the KJV version of Jesus's words (that Jonah was swallowed by a whale) to try to show that Jesus didn't know that a whale couldn't swallow a man. I have no problem believing that...

Might the answer not be that we are not 100% sure what/who satan is because the Bible does not tell us explicitly? Does that answer bother you? If so, why?

UR is the only thing that would “redeem” a Calvinistic view of Gods sovereignty, but of course Calvin believed no such thing.
