I say this in jest: if you tell us where you can agree with the modern church, I'd ask you the question!

There is no need to broadcast every detail of your life to the whole body of Christ. I think confession should be made to the offended party. If a sin is public, then I recommend public confession. Otherwise, keep it interpersonal.
