The Christian Life is about relationships, not performance.
Re: Straight Forward Questions
Brigham Young is quoted as having said:
"Now hear it, 0 inhabitants of the earth, Jew and Gentile, saint and sinner! When our father Adam came into the Garden of Eden, he came into it with a celestial body, and brought Eve, one of his wives, with him. He helped to make and organize this world. He is Michael, the Archangel, the Ancient of Days, about whom holy men have written and spoken-He is our father and our God, and the only God with whom we have to do."
So if Adam was God, and "one of his wives" was Eve, then God not only had a wife, but several of them.

Man judges a person by his past deeds, and administers penalties for his wrongdoing. God judges a person by his present character, and disciplines him that he may become righteous.

But, if you can't be defined by the beliefs/teachings of your self-professed prophets, then is there no definition to LDS beyond where you choose to gather?karenprtlnd wrote:No.
God created man in his (or thier Elohiem) own image. He created them male and female. Not that he created them male and female in (thier) his own image. I have heard that arch angel Micheal may have been Adam. But Adam could not be either JHVH the Son, nor God the Father. God spoke with Adam and Eve in the Garden before and after the eating of the fruit by Adam and Eve. The God "from the beginning before all things" I read to be God the Father. The Son JHVH, who was with God the Father from the beginning. Yet I do not read that JHVH is God the Father, but that JHVH is the Son, the Lord of the Jew (JHVH Lord of Abraham and Moses). That JHVH is the Son of God the Father, but is not God the Father. Neither is Micheal Jehovah nor is Micheal God the Father, thus Adam can not be JHVH the Son nor God the Father. (yet.... The first and the last Adam? is Christ?) How.
JHVH, the son of God, who is/became Jesus Christ is The Approved One. The King of Kings. Lord of Lord. The Son of the Living God.
Micheal the arch angel, may have become/been Adam. I have heard this explained. Micheal is niether JHVH the Son of God nor God the Father.
So... Adam can not be God the Father nor the Son of God who is JHVH.
Being LDS is not about being in a club of "writings of men" but to gather together.....
