I saw where you thought people aren't reading your posts. (But I do). I read this article soon as you linked it. A good one too!

Two things sort of "grabbed" me that are related to Calvinist v. Non-Calvinist debates:

1 Timothy 5:6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

and:

"We are surrounded by dead people. We live and move in a grave yard, where the vast majority of the people are dead. Those people are hardened in sin, as we were at one time. Can they be reached for the Lord? Can they be brought to new life in Christ? Only the Lord knows, and that is not our responsibility."

1 Ti 5:6 sort of does away with the "dead men can do nothing" argument (though this is talking about a woman, same thing tho).

The paragraph makes sense in terms of the sovereignty of God. The Lord knows who can be reached -- this knowledge is HIS alone. Our responsibility, since we obviously do not know who can be reached, is to preach the gospel to all.

Being a Non-Calvinist is so simple, really...I like it! (God knows, I don't)!
Not all that hard to figure out...not much more to it....

Just some thoughts, not to start yet another debate, lol

I've read the article twice now...(wow, a lot in it, touching on almost all doctrines). I bookmarked it in my 'Eschatology' folder, thanx again.
