sex life of atheists

Post by Ian » Wed Dec 09, 2009 1:03 pm

On Sunday, Steve, you quoted Hume, Nietzsche and (perhaps) Dawkins as admitting that religion was unacceptable to them because it inhibited their sex lives. If you could provide references to where they said or wrote that, it would be really appreciated. Fascinating. (I ask not for my own titivation though, but because I have two friends who set quite some store on the thoughts of two of these characters).

I rather felt for the 19 year old lad struggling with his father (downstairs?!). I hope he hangs in there and rings again.

Same here (I have a son about the same age); my heart went out to him, and I remember feeling relief that it was Steve he was talking to who I knew would be sensitive in his interaction with him.
