I understand that the early church frowned on "acting."

Read paragraph 9. I HAVEN'T READ THE WHOLE ARTICLE. So I don't know anything about the writer, or if he is biblically sound. Please use discretion.

Roger: Where do you attend church? Those meetings are rare to come by these days.

Roger: Thanx for the info.

But I didn't mean to deviate from the original topic, lest moderator Steve chide me.

Let's continue with the discussion. Does anybody know anything else about the early christians and acting, skits, etc?

Agape,

Roger,

Can you tell me how the scripture study is structured in your group?

Yes Livingink.......We usually go through one of the books of the Bible together and have certain sections of the word we all read on our own throughout the week so that when we come together there is a certain line of fellowship that we are on. But there is no hard rule that you must share on these verses. We allow each other the liberty to share something fresh from the Lord that we may have recieved during the week. And we mix the word with things we have experienced during the week. Is this what you are asking me?........We also have communion( which we call "The Lord's Table) every sunday together with the breaking of bread together. This is a time with a lot of singing and praising together and also usually some will share some testimonies of thankfulness to the Lord for who He is and what He has done for us. I hope this answers your question.
