NBC will be airing a television series related to the aftermath of Yeshua's death. I'm sure this will spark great discussion throughout the world concerning historical facts vs. Hollywood glamour. However, this will serve as an opportunity for scholars, and laymen alike, to delve into the culture, Hebrew, Greek, and Roman in order to get the context correct. As Christians we will be expected to separate fact from fiction whenever Hollywood depict a biblical account. I also believe these opportunities help to reenergize the base, and get serious once again, or for the first time, to study the faith we hold as truth.
As always, I look forward to the discussion here at this forum to help aid in the effort to get the context correct. Nevertheless, I applaud any and all legitimate attempts by Hollywood to keep the Christian faith alive in a complex world. For God indeed provided them an enormous bully-pulpit
