Samson Reappears

Has anyone seen the similarities between Samson and Trump? No, I'm not kidding. Just about all we hear is negatives about Trump. He tweets too much. He is too rude and he goes after anyone who attacks him. He is like a child who always needs to get even, etc. Even many Christians hop on the "Hate Trump" bandwagon. He befriends Christians and even thinks he is one, but his actions don't line up.
Now I'm going to quote another hated personality, Rush Limbaugh, also hated by many unbelievers as well as Christians. Yesterday, Rush said, "Trump is not the problem." He went on to say, in essence, that conservatives and Christians have been "beaten down" by liberals and non-Christians for decades and oftentimes, we don't fight back in any way, shape or form. George W. Bush claimed to be a born again believer and he almost never fought back or defended himself from the lies, ridicule, and mockery of the left. Finally, along comes Trump, who is rude and ready to fight at the drop of a hat and amazingly, he takes the side of conservatives and Christians who have been "forgotten". I believe that's the word he uses. Trump comes on the scene and he announces that the downtrodden of society will no longer be bullied and he will see to that personally. America has been shamed and bullied by many other countries, but Trump says, "No more."
I see Trump as God's answer to our prayer for our country and the church. I don't know if he is a believer or not - I pray that he will be if he is not. But in the mean time, God is using him to rescue a nation that almost went head on into socialism and a socialist state, with disastrous results. That would have been our course under a Hillary regime.
I thank God for President Trump and Rush Limbaugh. Both seem to be arrogant and are rough around the edges and we generally don't like that, but God is using them to accomplish good things in our country. Remember Samson insisted on marrying a non-Jewish woman and when the Philistines killed her, he made them pay for what they had done. And the scripture says that the Lord sought an occasion against the Philistines, and he used Samson to deliver Israel from them. Fornication seemed to be a way of life for Samson, yet God still used him. Obviously, God did not condone his immorality, but He didn't seem to have any issues with Samson killing Philistines. Let God arise and His enemies be scattered!
