I've been having a dialogue with a friend over Gen 1 and 2, and in discussing the possibility that Gen 2 does not chronologically follow Gen 1 but instead "rewinds" and retells it from a different point of view, he asked if there was any other Hebrew literature (bible or not) that did that sort of thing because he found it a bit odd as a literary form.
Anyone?

Many would say Revelation is such a book with some counting 7 or so time the "story" is rewound (I don't have the specific divisions - I got the 7 times from one of Steve's lectures). And although it's written in Greek, Revelation is a very Jewish book.
