Thanks Glow, that's lovely of you. :)
I don't feel particularly courageous, but am so thankful God loves me as I am!

Hi all. I am new to the forum - in fact, this is the first time I've taken part in a forum of any kind and I feel a bit shy about joining you. You look to be friendly folk, however, so I'll be brave and jump in. I've been looking in on the postings to see if there are any new developments regarding the availability of Steve's current lectures online (so far, no?) - It occurred to me that since I've begun visiting the forum on occasion, it would only be polite to register. So Hi! I'm Joan. I don't live far from Monroe and am planning to come for the lectures on Thursdays, as I am able. Suzane, should you (or any other car-less student) suddenly realize you are in need of shampoo, stamps, Elmer's Glue or goat cheese, let me know by Wednesday nights and I'll be glad to hunt them down for you and bring 'em with me on Thursdays. Meanwhile, welcome to our beautiful state (sorry for all the rain)! I look forward to meeting you soon. Blessings!

Hello Joan,

Welcome to the forum, and it will be great to meet you on Thursday evening. I'll be the one with the strange accent. :)
That is very nice of you to offer to shop for us, I'll keep it in mind & pass the word around, thank you!

p.s. don't worry about misspelling my name, it's not the first time that's happened & I don't let it bother me.

Thanks for the welcome, Suzana. I am glad to make your acquaintance. Sadly, there may not be any Elmer's glue or goat cheese this week. I've come down with a cruel bug after being exposed to strep last week; barring a miraculous recovery, I dasn't come into your midst. I'm disappointed, but will have another opportunity on the 8th of next month. Meanwhile, I'm listening to the newly posted lecture series, "Following Jesus: What it means to be a Disciple," and finding plenty to work on, right there!

Any update on when the MP3s / videos from the school will be available online?

A fair question. The videos for the first half of the school are now in the hands of the brother who is processing them for uploading to the internet. I asked him what the timeframe might be for seeing them online and he thought it would be a couple (or a few) weeks, since there are nearly 100 lectures to post. I have the mp3s ready for the same lectures (Genesis, Job and the first halves of Mark and Exodus, as well as the first half of the new Kingdom of God series). I suppose there are enough of these complete for me to start sending them to Jarrod. I would look forthem at the site http://www.theos.org/media earlier than on my website (thenarrowpath.com), simply because Jarrod is pretty quick about updating the site, whereas I am very slow about getting my site undated. At the end of next week, I will have completed Exodus, and that would probably be a good time to send everything to Jarrod. I can't say how soon he may get them posted, but it probably won't be very long after he receives them.

Steve,

I wanted to attend the New Great Commission School but due to current job and other things I was not able to sign up. Maybe sometime in the future I will be able. I was wondering however if you would be recording or video taping the classes?

I was also curious if you had anymore info on the house in Portland. Is it still available for a ministry and if someone bought it for you would you start up a new school or ministry there?
