While googling for audio I came across the following last nite:
The Society for Pentecostal Studies and the Wesleyan Theological Society had their 3rd Joint Meeting at Duke University, Durham, NC, March 13-15, 2008.
A guy named Andy Rowell has the audio (mp3s) on his blog for free download:
church leadership conversations
Links to SPS and WTS are there (and lots of other mp3s too).
I'm excited! One speaker is Jurgen Moltmann who I've never heard speak. Years ago, I really enjoyed his book A Theology of Hope (a classic on realized eschatology). Moltmann has individual presentations: "Sighs, Signs, and Significance" and: "Darwin and the Interpretation of Natural Theology." Also featured in the panel discussion is Stanley Hauerwas, a long time Methodist who, if I'm not mistaken, is now Anglican.
I'm particularly interested in hearing these talks as I just visited a charismatic Wesleyan Church this past weekend (I'm charismatic, Pentecostal in background).
The first session is 2 hours long: This is going to be good!
Take care, (I hope Matthew sees this!),

Matt & Darin,
I listened to the Panel Discussion, which is primarily about "Christians and Peace" (issues like just war and pacifism, etc.). Also, be forewarned: One guy swears a few times (some of these folks are on the more liberal end of things)....
I mainly wanted to hear Jurgen Moltmann, who I'll listen to tonite.
Just wanted to give you a heads-up.
