Hell book complete
Re: Hell book complete
Thanks, Paidion! That is a good observation!
Re: Hell book complete
Just downloaded it on the Kindle, curious to see if any of the arguments from the threads here are in this book.

And while you're seeking, remember:Steve7150 wrote:Clearly a verse from the KJV
"God helps those who help themselves."
Clearly a verse from the SDV (Satanic Demonic Version)
Paidion
Man judges a person by his past deeds, and administers penalties for his wrongdoing. God judges a person by his present character, and disciplines him that he may become righteous.

Well, there's the Matthew Rose attribution. There's a short argument regarding a certain Greek word that does not quote or reference any scholar by name nor include any foot note. It made me think of Paidion as an unnamed source.steve7150 wrote:Just downloaded it on the Kindle, curious to see if any of the arguments from the threads here are in this book.
I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'm sure I'll read it if I get the chance. (I lean strongly CI already.) Thanks.TheEditor wrote:You might consider checking out Edward Fudge's "The Fire that Consumes"; it is a treatment of hell from a non "orthodox" perspective, with an introduction written by FF Bruce nonetheless.
I'm still reading the new book, Steve. It's well written and easy to read and understand, I think. I just finished chapter 10.

Great, Singalphile! I'm glad you like it.
Re: Hell book complete
Just finished up the book. I think we are quite similar. It's tricky allowing for such disparate views of God's nature in ones brain, which is the case for those of us that are agnostic about what the bible says about the issue.

I'm still working through it -- very good so far -- I particularly love how much of the salvation and gospel / kingdom message is interleaved through it so far.

I have also started reading your book and it is easy to understand for an ESL ( English as a second language ) person like me.
But there are a few words that I'm having difficulty to understand such as the word Prima Facie, posit and a few.
I will post the words that I'm having difficulty when I finish reading perhaps someone can help me understand them.
It is very informative and I enjoy reading it.
Your work is like a work of a Scholar but yet easy to understand.
