If God did tell you that, do you suppose it may have been a message just for you, maybe to help you decide who or what kind of teacher to trust, or what kind of Godly wisdom to seek and emulate, or something like that? There doesn't seem to be any benefit to sharing it publicly, so maybe God didn't intend that.

In any case, discernment is in order, both for being able to tell what is or is not really from God, and also for wisdom about what to do with it.

I just wrote 2 replies but both
For some reason was not submitted.

By the way If people have different discernment about Steve's apostleship there will be no implications to people who does not believe that Steve is an Apostle.
(I meant life goes on as usual)

And it is obvious that most and maybe all members here does not believe that Steve is an Apostle.

Also even if all people believe that Steve is an Apostle there will still be no implications because Steve always reminds us to think for ourselves.
Also Steve is not demanding, not bossy and

Even Apostle Paul admit that he is not perfect no one is perfect including Steve.

If Apostle Paul is alive in person today and he told me to become a doctor but really I want to become a carpenter I will not follow him unless the Holy Spirit tells me so.

If the APOSTLE Paul saw me watching pornography and told me to stop it immediately, I will obey him faster than a speeding bullet. ( IMMEDIATELY)

If there are NO MORAL IMPLICATIONS and the Holy Spirit did not tell me then I don't have to follow Apostle Paul.

Same with Brother Steve.

In that case please ignore my post Backwoodsman.

If any of you doesn't find this post beneficial please ignore this post and do not ask questions so I will not be tempted to reply.

I just want to share my thoughts or revelation from the Holy Spirit that Steve is an apostle that is why I posted this but if all of you finds this post offensive and useless, again please ignore this post.

I believe that this post did not violate the rules and regulations of this forum

In the Bible, didn't every apostle know that he was an apostle? Either Jesus appeared to them or Jesus directly appointed them, or possibly other apostles and leaders laid hands on them to appoint them to that office. So if the Lord has not shown this to Steve, he probably is not one.

I don't have an answer for that Dwight, you maybe right and I'm wrong.

When I said that Steve is an Apostle, I never plan to defend that and still don't have plans to defend what I said. All I'm saying is that I truly believe that my thinking and feeling that he is an Apostle is coming from the HOLY Spirit.

But again as I said, I did not hear the Holy Spirit audibly, I didn't see nor physically touched the Holy Spirit. But I can truly feel and know that he is telling me that Steve is an Apostle again if I'm wrong life goes on to everyone if I'm right same thing we must follow the leading of the counsellor.

Also my eternal life does not depend whether brother Steve is an Apostle or not but it would be
nice to know.

My final conclusion.
I maybe the only human who thinks brother Steve is an Apostle which means that even brother Steve himself does not believe he is an Apostle.

I will still continue to treat him as an Apostle unless I'm 100% sure that my Revelation from the HOLY Spirit by means of thinking and feelings is wrong.
