Is God righteousness in His condemnation of all men?

Post by _Jude » Tue Apr 13, 2004 12:53 pm

Hi Steve,

I think we left off with a point of yours concerning God's prerogatives.
I wonder if we agree on some basics? Is it true in your mind that the Scriptures teach all men have sinned in Adam. That all therefore are subject to the wrath and curse of God? And that if God had left all human beings in their sin to be eternally condemned He would have been perfectly righteous in doing so?

Thanks,
Jude

By the way - hope you are doing well.

Reason:
Romans 8:29 (ESV)
For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

Hi Jude,
Greetings! I am doing well, by most measures, thanks. I hope to see you in Idaho later this week!

In answer to your question, I have no difficulty agreeing to your proposition. Where would you like to go with it?

God bless you!
