freedom of God’s call.

How so?
Yes, it is obvious that God chose Israel for His good purposes. He elected Israel as the nation that would be used to birth the Christ. However, nations do not have souls that are either damned or blessed eternally. I do agree that God elects and chooses the people whom he blesses eternally, but not in the same way He (seemingly) randomly chooses nations. He has elected to bless those who have faith in Christ. He chooses, out of His goodness, and not out of necessity, to bless those that make a choice to follow after Christ and trust Him for their salvation.
Now, one would say... "How can man make such a choice if they are totally depraived outside of Christ?" I would answer to say, "Just as a man decides to grab a cup and lift it to his lips to bring sustanence to his physical body. It is true that he is totally depraived without his arms. He cannot do it unless he has arms, and a cup, and water to drink for that matter. But God, out of his goodness, has given us arms, and a cup, and living water to drink from. We are totally depraived outside of this. But we do now have a choice to drink it, as he has given us the tools. So "Choose this day whom you will serve." Choose this day in who you will entrust your soul to be saved. Christ is my choice. And I choose only by His grace.....but I do choose.

Yes Jude, God did choose these people - the same people who on mass rebelled against Him - the vast majority of which died in their sin.
