Arminian Minute on YouTube

Post by postpre » Sun May 02, 2010 7:30 pm

Hello all,

I hope you don't mind this shameless plug, but I'm making series of videos to be put on YouTube (not hi-tech, though). I'm calling the videos "Arminian Minute." The link for my first one is below, and poses whether John 1:13 teaches unconditional election.

Of course, feel free to leave feedback on YouTube under comments.

God Bless,

Brian

I've spiced up the videos a bit (music and text)

The latest:

Arminian Minute: God's love for all of fallen humanity

Tune in to listen to my interaction with a Calvinist thinking pastor on the love of God for the world

Brian,

Good work! Any connection to The Pristine Faith Restoration Society?

Hi Darin, the pastor is a friend of mine from the state of Iowa, I used to be a part of the movement in which he pastors in, although he's in a different city than I am. I prefer to keep his name anonymous.

Homer, my theology has been greatly shaped by Tim Warner of PFRS. However, the videos are not directly connected to him or PFRS. I did post a link to the Society of Evangelical Arminians on one of them.

Hey guys, I've posted another one.

Arminian Minute: Is Arminianism "Man Centered" and "Works Oriented?"

Tune into to hear why Arminianism is just as "God Centered" and "Grace Oriented" as any other Christian Worldview

Postpre,

Good job! What is Tim Warner doing nowadays? Didn't he leave PFRS?

Hi Homer,

Tim is pastoring Oasis Christian Church in Tampa, Florida. He passed on the formal administrative responsibilities of PFRS to Roger Samsel, although there is not a lot of new material of late. PFRS is a great resource, but I don't know if much will be added to it in the future.

Here is Tim's church website:

His audio recordings:

And his Answers in Revelation website (I was really hoping that he'd debate Steve on Amil vs Historic Premil a couple years ago, but he ended up debating a COC minister, just because I respect Steve, and I know it would have been an excellent discussion):

My latest video has John Piper squaring off against second century Christian leader, Irenaeus. Should be interesting :-):

Postpre,

Please see my post in Ecclesiology category. I have a question for you regarding Oasis Christian Church.

Thanks, Homer
