One of the blogs I follow is by Rodger Olson. This can be found at patheos.com . Check the blogs on the patheos site, he is easy to find. In this two part article he shows a good connection continuing from the renowned theologian/write Charles Hodge to modern day reformed thinking. Often Calvinists will try to downplay the results of exhaustive sovereignty as it relates to God and the consequences of this belief. Enjoy

True, but he wrote a systematic theology that is often seen as the source of much of the mindset of many or most of the better known reformed theologians over the last century or so. So when they try to distance themselves from some of the more onerous consequences of their Calvinism it is much harder for them to hide what they really believe.
