Re: Really good audio debate..
I think it would be only fair to post the relevant material James himself has produced in regards to his degree: http://vintage.aomin.org/CrEd.html http://vintage.aomin.org/CrEd2.html I surely don't understand why a doctoral degree would be pursued at all if it isn't necessary for the field of pract...

Re: Really good audio debate..
I think all of your comments are pretty accurate. I don't think, however, that White's aim is to "win" a debate, look good, or some other superficial goal. After having listened to him for quite some time, he really is both a thoughtful and aggressive debater/apologist. If he just cared about winnin...

Re: Questions for Mormons
Ok, my reply is actually pretty straightforward. I would argue that you are conflating two categories. You are merging the idea of "being one with" (or harmony) with "the nature of being" (or essence). For example, and this is a very crude example, obviously, a horse and jockey can be "one." If a pe...

Re: How can you trust the Book of Momon
Alright… Concerning Islam: Mkprr, your statements concerning the Quran are correct. However, my question still stands. Here is the question again, with 1 related question: 1. If Mohammed was given the allegedly divine Quran in private by Gabriel, and Joseph was given the allegedly divine BOM in priv...

I also wanted to say, mkprr, that I appreciate your sincerity and amiableness in your posts, which, in light of several of my most recent web-forum exchanges in a few online grad classes at a secular university, is quite refreshing. Thank you.
