Ian,
I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate the work that you do. These videos are truly amazing. When I see this footage and meditate on the scripture, I am overwhelmed by the awesomeness of God. Thanks for making them.

Re: Verse that refutes both Calvinism and Open Theism at once?
I tend to ask the same types of questions as TK as I read through scripture. Ezekiel 22:30-31 comes to mind as God addresses the wickedness of Israel's leadership: So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy ...

Re: Desperate for Jesus
Selah,
I am so glad to hear that Chris is safe for right now, and that he knows he has options. I will be praying for him and for you.

Re: Desperate for Jesus
Selah, I am so sorry to hear about your son Chris. I don't know if he has a relationship with the Lord or not, but I am thankful that we serve a God who pursues both the lost and the wandering. I pray that Chris will recognize that he is helpless to find the answer within himself, and that God is ca...

Thanks for clearing things up Rick. If I am going to spend time learning about a topic like this I want to make sure I am reading the most current material... my free time is already limited

Re: Verse that refutes both Calvinism and Open Theism at once?
I am jumping in here a little late, but I wanted to throw out some additional info that could be helpful regarding Peter's denial. In Greg Boyd’s work Satan and the Problem of Evil he addresses Peter’s denial (Matt 26:36) in greater detail on pages 130-133. Greg’s answer is that he deals with this p...

Re: Word of Faith and Healing: A Question On Steve's Teaching
Thanks for the replies. I missed the distinction between verse 4 and 5 in Isaiah 53. I thought that they were both referring to spiritual healing alone. This really clears things up for me.

Word of Faith and Healing: A Question On Steve's Teaching
I have been listening to Steve's teaching on the "Word of Faith" doctrine and the specific topic of healing in the atonement. Allow me to sum up the highlights of his teaching, as I understand it, to provide some context for my question: We begin with Isaiah 53:4-5 (NKJV) 4 Surely He has borne our g...

Hello From Colorado
I have been listening to Steve's lectures online and reading through the forum for awhile now and I just wanted to stop by to introduce myself. I appreciate the thoughtful responses to questions I find on this forum and I look forward to participating in discussions with fellow believers.
