Ready for the latest and greatest in the "right to die" arena? Here's a story about a woman who is being denied sustenance, who is neither in a vegetative state or terminally ill. Scary, innit? Damon That is scary. I've been listening to a book on tape recently. It's a Malcom Muggeridge book and he...

Psalm 82:1-4 and John 10:34
In Psalm 82:1-4 God is speaking to "gods", and John 10:34 Jesus uses this passage. How do we know this is the passage that Jesus is quoting? Does the word "gods" in Psalms 82 refer to elohim? The Census at the time of Christ's birth
Is there any reason why people went to "their own city" (luke 2:1-3) for this particular census? Would the Romans require this or was it Jewish custom? Are there any extra-biblical or historical documents that explain why people would be required to travel such distances for a census, rather than st...

When was the apocrypha canonized?
In a discussion with a Roman Catholic friend, he was saying that the apocryha was removed from the original canonization. In all my readings (which, admittedly, are from Protestant writers), the apocrypha was added after the reformation in the 16th century.
Which is the true history?
