Robby, I like the concept of what your are suggesting. However, since there are firm disagreements between believers there just may need to be a way to that involves some aggressive arguments. Like many things in our fallen world, debates may be an example of what is needed much of the time.

The word "debate" has some negative connotations and perhaps the way a debate is typically conducted these may be justified. I would have preferred hearing Steve and Dr. White work strenuously to get to the truth. As I said, while Steve seemed to be trying to strive toward this end it wasn't recipro...
