This morning I was in distress over this matter and asked of the Lord to hear from Him words of hope and not destruction. And peace and a plan came to mind. The plan has been implemented.

Hi Dane, Some thoughts, A hundredfold may be hyperbole, though I'm thinking of Acts 4:32, where a person could have left everything to follow Jesus and received an hundredfold. And look at Pauls life, the lands he took (received), and the large Christian families he set up, and was sometimes succore...

I would guess that the dream was real and that the author was being approached by the Heavenly Father.

That, He could assuage the pain.

As He has mine, over losing my father before I became a christian.

In regards to demonic possession/oppression, I often hear the afflicted
being blamed for failures in deliverance issues due to, "Their unwillingness".

From Jesus in Matt. 17:20 unbelief is the culprit, and that, of His disciples.
