Sorry, I got upset when it seemed like you were picking on a minor point and relegating the whole of the rest of what I said to oblivion.
That's pretty much it. I think it's time for me to sign off.

I've been considering how to properly and kindly respond to your rather harsh post. I believe you are in error. At home I have a resource which shows how the context defines these words that appear to be identical, but this is not immediately available to me right now. However, observing how you hav...

According to 1 Samuel 17:12, David's father was "an Ephraimite". Ephraim was one of the two sons of the patriarch Joseph. Say what? Better read that again. 1 Samuel 17:12 NASB "Now David was the son of the Ephrathite of Bethlehem in Judah, whose name was Jesse, and he had eight sons. And Jesse was ...

Actually, Veritas, I can't agree with the five points that you have outlined and that isn't at all what I meant by my post. But then again, I've never considered myself a five-pointer (pun intended and unrelated to your comments :D ). Let me just say that, if we are Israelites, we should live as Yah...

"After the Millenium" is a discussion in itself. You still leave me wondering if you are referring to an actual, physical building. There could be one, of course, but it will not honor Yahweh and I don't find anything in Scripture that would indicate one has been prophesied.

It is sometimes hard to interpret what you read in a posting, but I am hoping that the references you are all making to a future physical temple are not to an actual building. "I saw no temple in it (the New Jerusalem), for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple" (Revelation 21:22). B...

I generally say Yeshua and am part of a congregation that practices a Hebraic form of worship. I have also encountered those who denounce the name "Jesus" and sometimes even insist it is of pagan origin. This, of course, is nonsense. Probably the best defense of the name Jesus is the use of "Iesous"...

lol I would suppose that someone who believes in Eternal Security would likewise say that Jesus, Paul and the Old Testament prophets taught it. It would also seem reasonable that Amillenialists and Preterists would say their particular theological viewpoint dates back Biblical times. After all, Pete...

Nope. I just wanted to concisely state where I was comming from. Someone else I used to know always said "Never let your doctrine become your faith." Next week I may learn something that today I hold dear is not really the way I understood it to be. Or my "ego" may be severly deflated. Yeshua is sti...
