A quick summary of facts on the FLDS case.

Some facts, as I have been blogging furiously about it. One, the real "Sarah" is " Rozita Swinton ", a 33 year old black woman from Tennessee and Colorado Springs, CO and she is childless. Her being black is only significant because the FLDS have no black members, they are racist. Texas is down to b...

It was Steve's choice.

It's simple, though I think this forum treated my "pet" topic with perhaps one of the highest degrees of respect, the thread was nonetheless closed. So, partly in a minor form of protest, and partly because of time considerations I post far less here. I humbly submit the topic for which I am well kn...

"The issue Paul is dealing with throughout Romans is the revelation that the Gentiles are included in the covenant....which was groundbreaking news at that time. Thus, we are all included as equal heirs regardless of our ethnic background (Jew or Gentile), gender or social standing." For me the sid...

I declaimed any label until I realized that I was somewhere in between what is known as a High Calvinist or a Hyper Calvinist. Ever since then I've been entirely comfortable with the term "Hyper Calvinist."

Yeah but....

"I've always thought of that verse to be addressing the removal of distinctions in God's present kingdom. That would obviously mean we would all be one in Christ in heaven as well." Applying that verse to the present age presents thorny problems, aside from giving each fellow heir the respect they ...

Not Buying it.

While exclusive usage of a word means one thing 99 times, there is always the possibililty that it's used ONCE to mean something else. While very expansive as a context, the Scriptures are not a WHOLE context of language as it is used in every instance. Thus we could get a word that means something ...

I seek only to PROTECT real marriage, not to define it.

"Didn’t do to bad in the last election and I have a feeling in the next election you are going to see more states ratify their constitution." Perhaps you see me as some variation of liberal in Doctrine or Politics. I am not. I vote straight Republican every election and I long for an even more cons...

'Can't we just protect marriage between one man and one woman, thereby outlawing the rest?' Good luck with that. "My point is that we should vote for laws that protect a strict view of scripture and not vote for laws that would protect others just so we can protect ourselves." This is why we need t...
