Cool. Sounds great, Troy. I am a member of the Church of God and have been all my life. I've only been to the Lee Campus once, about two years ago, at a Church of God "Life Builders" conference at the Cleveland Church. Don't know much about the University, but I highly recommend the denomination! :D...

I know this is an old thread but I've been listening to Kent Hovind's lectures for the past couple of weeks and have found him to be very convincing. Of course it seems that he has not been the perfect role model as far as dealing with the government as concerns taxes, but reading through this threa...

Yeah, Rae. I have a TV Guardian and I don't know what I ever did without it. It's great. At first it was a little hard to get used to - the TV would go quiet and then you'd read what was said with the curse word being replaced (e.g. the "B" word becomes "nag", the "S" word becomes "crud"). Sometimes...

Spirit and Soul
I've often heard that the human consists of three parts. Body, Soul and Spirit.
Body is a simple enough concept. But Soul and Spirit are a little fuzzy to me.
Does anyone know what the differences between the two are?

AARONDISNEY...Do you even bother to read what I do actually say? Mark While I don't enter into alot of Calvinism debate on this forum, I've researched it pretty extensively and I don't find it convincing in the least bit. So I don't really bother a whole lot. I've found the best arguments for Calvi...

Yeah, I hear you on this one. People throw out that phrase way too liberally. I try never to say that. It's just supposed to throw their opponent concerning a particular doctrine for a loop, and cause them to think .... "hey, I guess I'm so far out there with my view that I'm not even serving the Go...

Yeah, I see what you're saying, Derek. It does seem to indicate that it's only defending itself against full preterism. I just read of so many things that are presented as an argument against dispensationalism, I just wish there were more things against partial preterism. I like to see the best argu...
