Likewise, I'm looking more closely into Sigur Ros. Sigur Ros' music has elsewhere been described as spiritual music however in an interview I read the singer noted that none of them were religious or had any interest in religion. The singer is actually a homosexual. Other music in this categ...

I like early Shane Barnard- specifically Rocks Won't Cry and Psalms.

I also really liked the first couple Enter the Worship Circle cds.

Andrew Peterson and Randall Goodgame are good as well.

Hi all. I attended Mars Hill for about a year and am still involved in one of their "house churches". I left because I never heard any exhortation to study scripture, pray, know Jesus, etc... Week after week we were told to go be a "driving force of good in our communities" and that was all. I left ...

Mormons don't accept the Journals as scripture or see them as inspired. Most Mormons I interact with don't even know they exist. You can however pick them up (atleast 10 years ago) at Mormon bookstores. There are all sort of weird teachings in them. Some of those teachings you mentioned are held by ...

Marjoe Gortner

This is a really interesting short documentary on an admitted fake preacher. It's really sad.

I noticed them too. "If the world doesn't need a savior then why do they keep calling out for one?" or something like that. I'm not sure if they were deliberate or not. Do you know?

I don't think saving for retirement is wrong for everyone. In our culture these days the children generally don't take care of their parents like they used to. I don't ever plan on "retiring" either but of course I'm 26 and that's easy to say now.

I think they tend to be extreme. I once saw one where a guy holding an NIV had a devil's tail. I think they use a lot of propagandha techniques and many people could be offended by them for the wrong reasons.
