Put me in at a solid 9 I think. Genesis 1- In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 2- Now the earth had become waste and wild, and darkness was on the face of the roaring deep, but the Spirit of God was brooding on the face of the waters. The above is from the Rotherham's Emp...

MLH The mainline churches (except for the 7th Day Adventists)may all officially believe in and teach hell but it is interesting to note that in many churches not everything official is believed by all the members. I have been in churches which teach eternal security where some of the members were ho...

Aarondisney I use predominately the Rotherham's Emphasized Version but also the King James for use with the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance. Mort Went to the site and listened to it in its entirety. I think Carlton is on the right page. Concerning an eternal hell that is. I do not believe it is forever. I believe there is an age-abiding correction. That seems to have a lot of scriptural support. (see Rotherham's Emphasized Version) His s...

periwinkler This is an old post from Feb of 05. I have only been on this site for a few days. So I dunno if you are still around or even if this will be read. I am leaning very much towards universal salvation. I do not understand it to be a salvation separate from the Savior. Some do see it as such...

Schoel- You make some very very good points regarding Mr Robertson. Pat's views on the mainly Ashkenazi Zionist Israel are not something I can share. His calling for assassinations of leaders is something he would surely condemn if someone were calling for them against those he favors. As a young ma...

Over the last couple of years I have delved into the subject of what Dr. Loyal Hurley calls "the outcome of infinite grace" -for me it satisfactorily answers more questions than either "eternal torment" or extermination. I agree with those who take comfort in the possibility of it.
