Re: Barclay was convinced (UR)

AFTER READING: ...most pages of this thread it seems to me that much of the discussion lies ultimately in what each individual perceives love to be or more frankly...unmeasurable, unfailing, indescribable LOVE furthermore, it is my experience that when discussing this very topic in person with peopl...

Re: Addictions, Habitual Sin and the "kingdom of heaven"

Thank you for all the replies. I suppose I was a little frustrated with the statement that the pastor made. Mainly because He didn't qualify his statement or lend much scriptural Interpretation to the passages he quoted amongst are the ones you folks posted here. I appreciate your interpretation and...

Addictions, Habitual Sin and the "kingdom of heaven"

I was sitting in a church one day when the pastor blurts out the following. Christians that act out habitual sin or live in sin or have addictions will not inherit the "kingdom of heaven". I was like ug..count me out. I lose my temper every day (city driving). I act out selfishly. and on and on and ...

Re: DOES GOD KNOW WHAT FAITH IS??

My intent of this post was to explore why God requires faith in humans. Having faith like a child. Accepting and trusting EVEN though we can't see, don't understand, and the universe and GOD himself is shrouded in mystery. "Blind Faith"...I am not suggesting ignorant faith. God cannot feel the same ...

DOES GOD KNOW WHAT FAITH IS??

Hebrews 11:1

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen"

IF GOD KNOWS EVERYTHING and IS SOVEREIGN OVER EVERYTHING.

Is it logical for God to know/experience what the following are:

FAITH AND HOPE

What is it about our Christian Culture?

After explaining to a sibling that I now held a UR view and explained the difference between that and the UNITARIAN VIEW. She says to me. are you STILL going to heaven, are you still a Christian? any other URs with similar experiences. or others from different views that may shed light on this kind ...

Re: Isaiah 45:23

Thank you all for the reply. The reactions and commentary is exactly what i was looking for... just about every angle has been covered here. Its debatable if nothing else and I think that the word allegiance is a stretch even if i hold to the UR view I find some UR individuals use the word "allegian...
