Steven,
Thank you for your posting.
Your work is admirable. However, from context, the natural reading of Hosea 11:1 is not as a prophecy of the future, but a discussion of the past. If Hosea is referencing the Pentateuch, wouldn't Occam's Razor suggest Exodus 4:22?

Re: Patron Saint Joseph of Home Sales
The situation is not utterly different from asking your pastor to pray for you. No, the situation is utterly different. (you aren't Catholic, are you?) My pastor is alive, and I can communicate directly with him and ask for his support in prayer. It's a talisman plain and simple if not some form of...

Re: Patron Saint Joseph of Home Sales
True to a point, but the New Advent site (though not authoritative, certainly mainstream) does list Joseph as patron saint of home sellers. If you'll just look at the thousands of patrons and patronages, I think it shows the depths to which the RC church will direct people away from Christ for your...

Edted from another forum : http://www.theos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=67&t=2241&p=32964#p32964 The reference in Matthew may be to ignorance of the nature of the scripture: it is a legal device, a hedge against the vicissitudes of this present world. In the present world, the scripture lays out a par...
