Re: common descent
I would recommend BioLogos (http://biologos.org/questions), which is an organization of generally evangelical Christians who take a theistic evolution stance. (As I do.) I wouldn't recommend looking at your son's acceptance of evolution as somehow being a barrier to his returning to the faith. Speak...

Rethinking Hell Podcast
Hey everybody, The Rethinking Hell Podcast is relatively new and hosts some interesting discussions on the topic of Conditional Immortality. The first show (a 2-parter) was an interview with Edward Fudge, and the more recent shows have featured folks like Justin Brierley of "Unbelievable?" and the m...

Unbelievable? Podcast (UK)
Just wanted to throw in a plug for Justin Brierley's awesome UK Podcast titled " Unbelievable ." It's generally an apologetics debate between an atheist and a Christian, but he also has some in-house debates from time to time, ranging from things like Love Wins to a debate about Rachel Held Evans's ...

Hellbound? movie
Thought I'd bring this to everybody's attention:
http://www.hellboundthemovie.com/
I'm thinking of attending the 10/12 showing in Beaverton if anyone else in the Portland area wants to do a Narrow Path outing.

Re: TNP Radio Archive File Names
What I'd like to see is the "30" being moved to the end of the name, perhaps preceded by an underscore. That way when they're downloaded, they'd stay in date order. Currently you end up with the hour shows first, then the half-hours.

Re: Steve on BAM - CRJ Article
Ever since I found Steves lectures on podcast I quit listening to all the other shows, how long does it take to listen to all of Steves lectures? Pretty much the same with me, though I still subscribe to several and give them a listen if the topic's worthy. But I think you can count on a good three...

Re: Steve to be on Bible Answer Man again
Maybe Hank might let you talk on the three views of hell? Then again maybe not. When i first became a believer i listened to him obscessively for two years every day. Wonder if it's the same style and format and views. I'll check it out. Doubtful, considering CRI did a big spread on "Hell as Eterna...

He has, and he began to engage it on one of the programs.Troy wrote:Steve has mentioned he would engage Sam Harris' book?
Incidentally, I finished the book and reviewed it on my blog. Unfortunately, I found that as an example of the way the New Atheists think, it's rather lacking in thought.

Re: SUNDAY NIGHTS—NEW RADIO PROGRAM on internet
I'm hoping that, eventually, Steve will get around to actually engaging Letter to a Christian Nation on the show. I'm reading it right now (picked it up at a used book sale), and I'm finding most of Sam Harris's arguments to be puerile and snarky. And ill-considered. I'm sure he considers himself a ...

Re: Leading a Bible read-through...advice on materials?
Thanks for the suggestions. I've read Wild at Heart and found it wanting...something. It just didn't speak to me. The Ryle books is another I read recently, and it's awesome. But I'm looking more for something to dovetail with a Bible read-through plan rather than a topical study. BTW, I suppose I s...
