Re: Second coming - individualized

The "end of the world (age)" is referring to the time when Judaism will be finished and all the types and shadows of the old covenant system annihilated for good. This will consumate, manifest and bring to light entirely upon its own the new covenant in Christ. No longer would "being in Christ" be ...

Re: Eye for an eye?

I see it as quite significant that the woman sees blinding the offender in one eye not as revenge, but as a deterrent.

In this case it wasn't "an eye for an eye" but "an eye for two eyes"!

Re: What to do when they deny?

Well, this time I'm with RND. There are too many case of condemning a person without adequate evidence. How can one even hypothetically suppose that the woman is guilty if there is insufficient evidence for that supposition? I don't see that she should receive discipline until such evidence is forth...

Re: Ruing Elite, One world Govt, etc

Please feel free to bring up the passages that you think teach a one world government, and we can discuss them. Well Brody, I don't have any passages which I "think teach a one world government". Rather I think a one world government is implied in certain passages. But these passages would convince...

Re: some missing books of The Bible

The Book of Enoch, and the prophecy which Jude quoted is not missing. This book is extant in our day and Chapter 2 consists of the words which Jude quoted The only problem is that Jude was in error in writing that it was written by the ancient Enoch (the seventh from Adam). Internal evidence indicat...

Re: Just got through going verse by verse through 1 Peter..

I agree with Psychomike that the context in Hosea indicates that "those who were not my people" refers to the northern tribes. However, the quote from Romans 9 shows that Paul applied "those who were not my people" becoming "those I will call 'my people' " to gentiles who become God's people through...

Re: Roman Catholic and The Bible.

I'm sure you'll get the jest of it if you skim through it.
That's a good one! I just had to laugh, though I don't think you were trying to be funny. It would have been hilarious if popeman had said it ---- with his various attempts at being the jokester.

Re: Ruing Elite, One world Govt, etc

Do a google search for "one world government" (in quotation marks) and you'll find 340,000 entries. Do the same for "new world order" and you'll find 6,090,000 entries. Read some of the non-religious ones, and you'll discover that a one world government has been in the process of being planned for s...
