Re: My father's House

Thanks Homer for relaying that message, its a beautiful picture. I've just been recently thinking again how our family lives might be much better if we could structure them physically like Peters' was and others of his time. I affirm that His house is the Church. Yet I see Homers' post with its meta...

Re: The Church Service

Hi JR, You described the gathering you attended and asked: "So did we have Church? Can you have Church without a sermon?" My answer, Yes and Yes. It all sounded rather idyllic to me. I'm happy for you and your fellow congregates. Thank you for sharing, I've been to similar gatherings before. I hope ...

Re: A marriage that disagrees on tithing

Hi Aaron, I'm not married so I probably should leave advice for others. I do agree with you on this tithing issue. I am going to pray that God will guide you and guide your wife to follow your lead as you follow Christ.

God bless you and yours in this situation,

I really like what's been happening on this thread lately: efforts towards "lowliness, gentleness, and longsuffering".

Re: Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Congratulations brother Bill! Wonderful post. Love to hear baptism in the Spirit testimonies because I was so changed after my own Holy Ghost baptism. I hope more n' more family seek this out. I see the consequence of the lack too often. I heard a couple of guys on TBN speaking in tongues (hate that...

Re: Prayer Request For My Ailing Sister

Thank you very much All for your prayers! I believe our Lord is using them. Status report: (this is not as detailed as I would, due to the unavoidable public access here. I am very grateful for this site!) My retired mother arrived on a mission of mercy a week ago to check on my sister, care for her...
