Luke 9:59 He said to another man, "Follow me." But the man replied, "Lord, first let me go and bury my father." 60 Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God."
I know that one interpretation of 60 is for the spiritually dead to go bury the physically dead and that, again in some interpretations, the spiritually dead have chosen not to have a relationship with God. Does the physically dead body have any relationship to God? Is it simply decomposing into dust , no longer useful in the present form to God or the body/soul unity that used it?
