A believing friend of mine who served in the army in Afghanistan said they usually "baptized" new followers of Jesus with water from a canteen.

I asked a long time ago on this forum whether a person in Antarctica could properly be baptized in a snow drift. Snow is water after all.

Man judges a person by his past deeds, and administers penalties for his wrongdoing. God judges a person by his present character, and disciplines him that he may become righteous.
