What Has Happened to the Church?

The Church has changed a lot since Jesus established it nearly 2,000 years ago. Where did those Christian pioneers meet? How did they conduct their meetings? How did they select their leaders, and how did they finance their movement? Most churches today hardly resemble the Bible's model. What happened?

In a recent lecture, Bible teacher Steve Gregg discussed how the modern church has drifted far from its 1st Century moorings.

Steve shares many balanced ideas about the church operation. He advocates concepts from the Acts 2 function of the church but also recognizing that was basically a revival. Change is not dictated in this video but just pondering how the church could be more focused on the way God interacts with the people.
