P.S. regarding mosquitoes- no, i dont doubt that they had "stickers" before the fall, but they werent sucking on adam and eve. i believe paidion mentioned on the old forum that mosquitos will suck sap out of plants in a pinch- although i may be remembering that incorrectly.

You're remembering it pretty accurately, TK.P.S. regarding mosquitoes- no, i dont doubt that they had "stickers" before the fall, but they werent sucking on adam and eve. i believe paidion mentioned on the old forum that mosquitos will suck sap out of plants in a pinch- although i may be remembering that incorrectly.
Because of my understanding that the fall of man led to the fall of nature itself, I had hypothesized that mosquitoes sucked the juices of plants prior to the fall. Then a few years later, I read in a science book about an experiment in which mosquitoes were isolated in an environment where they had no access to animals. In that environment, the sucked the juices from plants and were able to produce their young just the same.

Not according to my search. My search found that both male and female mosquitoes suck sap for food but the female sucks blood only as a supplement for keeping the undeposited eggs alive.

No, but female mosquitoes have always been blood-suckers.
