Evangelical missionaries to Palestine

I apologize in advance if this is not the most appropriate place for this question. It is just that Palestine does have eschatological significance for many thousands of Christians that I have posted it here. It is also posted in the the "Missions & Evangelism" section as well, but the last post there was way back in June. I am hoping for a timely answer and since this thread seems to have much more activity, I hope you will be patient with my request...

Does anyone here know of any evangelical missionaries to Palestine?

I would like very much to contact them. Thank you very much in advance.

Brother Andrew has worked a good amount with Palestinian people. In his book 'Light Force' he even lists some other Christian ministries going on there.

Not ignoring your question. Just don't have any information for you. Brother Andrew is a good lead. He is another of my great heroes.

Thanks Steve...

I've put up this same request on a few other boards, very few results...something seems to be amiss here...Surely there must be some evangelical agency or group that is over there ministering to the Palestinian people. I'll bet you dollars to donuts it won't be missionaries with a dispensational theology! I don't think that would go over too well saying that Israel has a right to the land...No sireeeeeee

Actually, my wife read the book Light Force by Brother Andrew and she said that he did think Israel was promised the land. I don't look at Brother Andrew as someone who is particularily taken up with the doctrines of eschatology. He has other priorities.

I did read in Light Force his retelling of the time he met with the leader of the Islamic Jihad in Gaza. It was a fascinating heart to heart conversation. Brother Andrew has also met with several leaders of Hamas.

I heard Brother Andrew speak of the subject of Muslims once. I must say it was the most optimistic and loving message I've ever heard anyone preach about Muslims. I believe I saw the mind of Christ in Brother Andrew.

Hi Mellontes,

You could check out Tom White at Frontline Ministries. He does a tremendous amount of work uniting the body of Christ, in this country and abroad, Jews, Arabs and others. He has done great work for the kingdom. He takes seriously John 13:34-35. I am not exactly sure where he stands on future things but I know he has worked tirelessly at uniting believers of diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds.

In Him,

Jess

Thanks Jess! I found the link... http://flministries.org/
It didn't show up on my search of "Frontline Ministries" for some reason.
