I would like to know what people think of this video of the endtimes. It has a few different ideas. I know several people who have watched it several times and say it's accurate. I don't think so but looking for help to pin point some flaws. Thanks

p.s. this timeline is dispensational in view which make me skeptical from the get go.
is the new Youtube endtimes Daniels timeline true?
Re: is the new Youtube endtimes Daniels timeline true?
I have not had the time to view it, but the biggest problem with the dispensational view, I think, is their assumption that Daniel has something to say about events that are still future to us.
Re: is the new Youtube endtimes Daniels timeline true?
Sam,
I looked at the first video. He did not get into Daniel's timeline in it, but I know the basic dispensational viewpoint.
Daniel 7 (and 2) shows four kingdoms and then the kingdom of God. The four kingdoms are Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome. The kingdom of God intervenes at the time of the fourth empire (Rome) at the time of the little 11th horn. This does not fit dispensational dogma, so they postulate 2 Romes (ancient Rome and a future revived Roman Empire); it is either this or admit that God came and fully established his kingdom in the first century (cf. Dan. 7:21-22). Anyway I discuss Daniel 7 in my book (The Antichrist and the Second Coming: A Preterist Examination). As one can gather from the title it is written from a preterist perspective. You can read most of my take on Daniel 7 in a google book preview at the link below. Go to page 99 for the beginning of chapter 7. Thanks for the replies. I was raised dispensational so know the doctrine well. I lean amillennial now. But my family is still stuck in some dispensational views that I wish they could see other views on. I think this video will give me an opportunity to expose them to some of the errors I feel they have with a dispensational view.

Re: is the new Youtube endtimes Daniels timeline true?
I watched the videos and I am a bit surprised that people would believe them. Daniel was written during the exile and if we are to take Daniel 9 at face value it seems clearly written about the return from their current predicament. This would mean that 70 "weeks" were decreed to restore the currently exiled Israelites. This event actually happened. The temple was rebuilt. But this video states that Daniel 9 refers to 1947 decree of modern day Israel. There are other issues like making Israel the "fig tree" and saying that the time of Christs' return can be computed. Since he computed the 7th year (final week of Daniel 9) to begin in 2010, I guess we'll find out soon enough.

He will not fail nor be discouraged till He has established justice in the earth. (Isaiah 42:4)
Re: is the new Youtube endtimes Daniels timeline true?
I watched all the videos also and found the teachings of the moon phases and festivals fascinating, BUT I agree with your assessment, that it has many issues that are not biblical or logical. The predictions on the videos are all based on the 70 weeks of Daniel which I believe has been fulfilled as you do. Another thing the prediction depends on to be true is that there will be a 7 year tribulation before Christ returns which I feel is impossible to find in scripture. Also It's funny how so many people say Israel is the fig tree Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24:32. My Mom brought this up to me and I showed her the parallel verse in Luke 21:29 where it says the same thing as Mt 24:32 about the fig tree but adds that all the trees will do the same thing as the fig tree when summer is near. She never saw that before so now she sees Israel becoming a nation again doesn't really mean anything Biblically or prophetically.
Thanks for all your input it helps very much.
