Community perspective

I was just driving around my local Starbucks and a large family walked in front of me that was just traveling to their vehicle.

I found myself wanting to make sure that family's safety was promoted by my driving. I think having a local community (such as my church) is important to have because it moves you towards a heart and attitude of love and fellowship for others.

If our focus is on ourselves mostly, I think we miss those aspects. Otherwise I may have felt the obligation to stop for the family, but my heart may had been impatient.

Community and fellowship with brothers and sisters in our local areas is so important for the livelihood of the church in my opinion.
