Hi Focusedman,

I think you may be right about the near future (we shall see). However, how do you know to identify this mess with any particular time predicted in scripture? Theoretically, couldn't all of this happen, and yet there be a measure of recovery for years or centuries, and the end of the world still be further out into the future?

Hello,

I am not inclined to make predictions, least of all about the "very near future". As far as I know, this century might see our standard of living cut by 80% or it might bring new discoveries and inventions that all but eliminate discomfort and disease.

It seems that material things and situations have been generally improving for some time. Is it time for us to get knocked back a few hundred years?

The Bible doesn't tell us anything about the 21st century, as Steve intimated, so then who knows? I don't.

As for the practical advice ("trust in GOD, invest in GOLD, hoard GROCERIES, and get yourself a GUN.") ... well, you can't go wrong with that first part, but I'm not sure that you can't go wrong with those other things.

Is that from a book?

First of all let me say, thanks Steve for the comment,The bible reveals that we are obviously living in earth’s final days. The increase in knowledge, global instability and moral decline (predictions about the end) all testify that the end is near.

I would love to read your New Revelation book, how can I get a copy? and I am encouraged by your speeches on eschatology.

@ Singalphile Yes I'm writing a book, but it's a way from being complete.
