Covenant.

Post by parsonsmom » Mon May 28, 2012 10:42 am

A born again believer have A covenant with God, but as any promise or provission to A covenant, there are are things we must do to approriate and activate its blessings. there are contractual obligations we have to fulfill in order to have the promises and of the covenant; in other words follow his instructions.
There are certain conditions we are rquired for these things to be active in our lives. It's like any other contract between any two individual: each person must do certain things to fulfill the contract.
For instance,
Romans10; 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
=================================================
But what does it say? The Word; God's message in Christ is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, the Word; the message, the basis and object of faith which we preach,Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe; adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth that God raised Him from the dead; you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes; adheres to, trusts in the , and relies on Christ, and so is justified; declared righteous, acceptable to God, and with the mouth he confesses; declares openly and speaks out freely his faith and confirms his salvation. But what does it say? The Word God's message in Christ is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, the Word; the message, the basis and object of faith which we preach, Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe; adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the heart a person believes; adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ and so is justified; declared righteous, acceptable to God, and with the mouth he confesses; declares openly and speaks out freely his faith and confirms his salvation. Respectfully,parsonsmom

Covenant; God has placed with in us desire to accomplish. We have been made in the image of God. we are to be creative and build things. God is a builder; and we are to be builders too. the Apostle Paul called himself a master builder; who was building the Kingdom of god.
1 cor. 3: 9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Paul speaking,
For we are fellow workmen; joint promoters; laborers together; with and for God; you are God’s garden and vineyard and field under cultivation; you are God’s building. According to the grace; the special endowment for my task;of God bestowed on me; like a skillful architect and master builder;I laid the foundation, and now another man is building upon it; But let each man be careful how he builds upon it; For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is already laid; which is Jesus Christ; the Messiah; the Anointed One.

Hi All,
All men having been formed in the image of Adam bear in ourselves the “fallen nature” including the cursed made to him that; cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
(Gen 3:17, 19)

1 Cor 3:6-9 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

Being a wise laborer together with God we must choose the good seed or grain that we shall sow and the good seed is Christ , which is in conformity of Luke 8:11 that the parable is the Word of God and Jesus is the Word of God prior to incarnation. John1:1, 14.

As stated in Mar 4:26-28 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
The growth of the plant is parallel to Act 12:24 But the word of God grew and multiplied.
And when it grew it has roots, lump, stems or branches, leaves and fruits.

Rom 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

What do you think this verse are enlightening us?

Shalom brother;
The Scriptures are good; I am glad you are here. you are righton. I want to show all the of the in's and out's that people
don't understand; there are alot of newbes that comes in to read.

For with the heart a person believes; adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ and so is justified; declared righteous, acceptable to God, and with the mouth he confesses; declares openly and speaks out freely his faith and confirms his salvation. Respectfully,parsonsmom.
Matt 6:33
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
or all your needs will be taken care of.

Some people has some warped Ideas about rightousness; Rightousness is a fo reaching word in scriptures;It has to do
withyour right standing with God;your relationship with Him; your being purchased by the Blood of our redeamer;Jesus Christ The Annointed One; and havingyour sins wiped away; butthese ae just parts of the word rightousness; just as with salvation.

Salvation does't only mean being born again;it is an all-includive word that deals with every aspect of your life; including
spirit; soul; and body; financial; and social.
Matt.6:33 is not saying" just go to church and be born again, and God will fix you up; He will send all the things down to you; bless your little heart; NO; you must read thr scriptures and find how it works. he doesnt want you on spritual welfare.
you must learn how the Kingdom works.

Isaiah 1-19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
Psalms 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and He delighteth in his way. Respectfully,parsonsmom

Isaiah 1;19

Isaiah 1;19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

psalms 37:
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

In James 2: Rightousness is seen as a life of hearing and obeying theWord of the Lord; Verse 21 shows us about how
God told Abraham to go to Mount Moriah and offer his son; Isaac; as a sacrifice on the alter.
so Abraham took his son up that mountoun; put him on the alter;and was about to sacrifice him to God;
23 tells us specafically how abraham believed God; and it was imputed; or counted to him as rightousness

Abraham was really living a life of obedience.
He hears and obeys God; he was really living in obedience; this is how we are to obtain His promises;
Remember; as we listen;hear; and obey; He will lead you into a procession of victory upon victory;
the results will be a life of sufficiency in all things;than you willbe able to support the kingdom of God.
THAT'S WHAT JESUS IS TALKING ABOUT.

Matt.6: 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Respectfully; Parsonsmom
