Differences Between Christians, and How Should We Respond.

I keep thinking there is a scripture that says if you have a conflict with a brother that you should go to him, and then if he refuese to listne take a witness, and if neccesary go before the church. I've looked and looked, and can't find it, so maybe I'm thinking of several scriptures, and putting them together. Either way, if someone can hepl me find this or let me know if I'm combining multiple scriptures I would much appreciate it.

Matthew 18

15"If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. 16But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. 17If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. 18Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." Now that the verse has been found, can you find a church in your area that actually uses that process?

This was the scripture I was thinking about, though it's a bit differnt than I had originally thought. I guess it would still apply if you want to approach a brother about a sin in their life, even if it isn't against you.

As for a church that will practice it, I had not thought a lot about that. It was more in terms of a discussion, and I couldn't find the scripture to make sure that I was correct in the way that I was applying it.
