It seems to me that there was a thread like this on the old forum. Maybe not. Anyway, I think this might be an uplifting or perhaps even edifying thread. If you know any succinct but effective sayings or short verses, please contribute.

There was a thread started by Steve called "Favourite Mottos", and it has been moved to this forum (under Miscellaneous, General Questions), HERE.
Perhaps this thread should be moved there, or somehow amalgamated?
