I'm currently going through Steve's Life of Christ series, and I wanted to find other resources to provide balance to my studies.

I've listened to a few of Ray's messages and they seem pretty good to me. Does anyone here have a more extensive experience with his minsitry?

I've also got William Barclay's commentaries on the NT, an abridged version of Matthew Henry commentaries, and as a gift I received the commentaries by J. Vernon McGee. (I consider that last to be rather shallow).

Can you folks recommend any other resources?

chuck smith teaches through the bible and his lectures are available to read or listen to at the Blue Letter bible website. not extremely deep but he covers the material.

I think I've read a large percentage of Ray Stedmans sermons. Above average stuff. I was edified. He's dispensational, which I agreed with at the time, but don't anymore. But the essentials are all there.

Yeah, I've read and listened to Ray Stedman too. I thought he was really good. I relied on alot of his material for many a Sunday School lesson in the past.

Jon Courson is an interesting Bible teacher. Sometimes I think he takes some strange veers off the beaten path, but sometimes it's some real eye opening stuff. It's not the run of the mill stuff you hear all the time anyway. He has audio for every chapter of the Bible here...

Thanks Aaron, I'll check that out. Balance is actually what I'm looking for.

I've found that I respond very well to Steve Gregg's lectures. We think a lot alike, and I find his insights helpful. But I don't want to become too monocular in approach.

Has anyone heard of Les Feldick?
