The distinguishing mark of a Christian

As a Christian there should be a difference….
From those that choose not to follow Jesus
Our world views can’t be the same
The things we place value on
The things we prioritize
Our passion should be God centric rather than me centric
Being a Christian now a days seems so far removed from what a disciple suppose to be
Instead of giving up the luxuries of life to follow God, Christians give up God to follow the luxuries of life
God is deep speeches and phrases, but he’s not deep in the hearts of men
The gospel now in churches is a ‘me centric’ issue
It’s based on how I can get the most out of life
It’s philosophically designed to people to avoid trials and tribulations
There’s no conviction to the wicked and lukewarm heart
A vision to have a life of comfort and ease
Going to church now is just an anesthetic to carnal Christians
Those who depend so deeply on some recycled rhetoric message that’s design to have the flesh satisfied
The sermon is basically a motivational lecture, the same feeling you get one you watch a Dr. Phil or something
People are now refusing everything, but riches from life
Even if God’s will is otherwise
They feel as If God’s will is theirs, even if it’s living according to the flesh
You can’t tell the difference between a non believer and a Christian
Both are greedy and love money
Both feel that life consists of the abundance of things
Both love themselves more than they love others
Both hate those that hate them
And do good to those that do good to them
What’s the difference?
What’s important to you?
Is its Christ?
Who do you love…is it Christ?
Or do you love the world?
Jesus asked the rich man to sell all that he has and come follow me…
What if he asks you to do the same, particularly if you have much
Chilling isn’t it?
