21-01 God's communicating

Post by Ashes » Wed Jan 26, 2011 5:29 am

A lady called in, asking if its possible if God is communicating something before something will happen.
it was so encouraging to hear this conversation.
It's such an amazing hope we have, to know that we will meat our Lord and dead is not the end.
I just wanted to say, i was listening this at work today and without a warning tears started to roll down my eyes, and i cried of joy for minutes.
It's a good thing i alone in the office today, cause it would have raised some question marks :)

praise God

I understand. Seems like every time the Lord speaks to my heart of hearts, I start to cry. It can be embarrassing, sometimes, but I think a lot of us are like that. Maybe all?

I can sympathize with your experience as well. It seems that when I hear from God or I'm encouraged, I either cry for joy or I'm just overwhelmed in my spirit with a joy that is difficult to contain.

I think it was Brother Lawrence, in his book "The Practice of the Presence of God", where he spoke of his prayerful attitudes bringing about a joy that was uncontainable. He would have to restrain his own emotions from getting out of control.

I often have these same experiences. When God encourages me, it is difficult to hide it or keep it to myself.

Hmmm, I'm having trouble putting my thoughts to words so I'm going to sit back and just listen for a while. But great hearing from you again, Rich!
