The impassability of God, the way Steve explained it, is that God does not experience emotions. Now, at first glance, I agree with Steve's conclusion. When we read the Scriptures it seems quite plain that God expresses certain emotions in response to His relations with human beings. I wonder, though, if this is merely anthropomorphism at its best.

If Jesus is the exact image of God and everything he did was not his will but his Father's then Jesus emotions like,

anger, love, compassion, mercy, patience, etc were real emotions and exactly like his Father's, i think.

Also the fruit of the Spirit must be attributes God has like, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness etc , or they would'nt be from God's Spirit.
