How can this be done successfully. (And is there any sort of spell check function while in the edit box?

Hi Karen,
It's good that you are wanting to work on the clarity of posts. I often have to return to edit my own posts because, when reading it after posting it, I often feel I have not stated sopmething clearly enough. Sometimes I edit a single post five or six times—usually at a single sitting! I keep re-reading it and finding misspelled words, omitted words, sentences that are not clear, punctuation mistakes, etc.
The forum has its own spell-checker when you are composing an original post (if you spell a word incorrectly, it will be underlined by a red, dotted line). I have found that this feature does not work when I return to edit a post that I have previously posted.
Sometimes, if I am writing a long response, I just open a Word document on my computer and write/edit on that. Once I have what I think will be my final draft, I cut and paste it to the forum as a post.
