Have you heard this before regarding we are reading the bible wrong and Christ ( God_ really does .basically the whole bible) refers to reincarnation in terms of coming back here as new beings as soon as we die here we are exchanged into a new body immediately and catapulted basically back to earth? thanks glow
Hi Glow, I think the reincarnation belief comes from Jesus saying "you must be born again" and from the statement by Jesus that John the Baptist was Elijah.
However Jesus contrasted human birth by saying "born of the spirit" which is not reincarnation but birth through the Holy Spirit. And Jesus added that John was Elijah "to those who could receive it."
Can God have a mother?

People who see that and think reincarnation are taking an interpretation away from the Bible that is directly contrary to direct teaching on the matter that they ignore. Hi Thankyou all very much for your imput. I can't say I disagree with any of you and am greatful for your responses. I also tried to tell her in my beliefs that we are born again in the spirit through the holy spirit(not just a flesh birth) with Jesus. and are to die once and when we are with God it is not to be transformed into a new baby and re entering this earth.She also said she did not believe in a heaven or hell. ( sure made me wonder why she said Jesus was her first master?)
Yes, we had new spiritual bodies but not the way she explained it. That is when she said she agreed we did not agree.

It seems to be a lifetime struggle to improve and do better, not because I think I can "work" myself into heaven but because hes my father and He knows whats best for me on this planet, to make it through the best I can while I am here. Also storing up treasures etc.

But if I was to say I did not sin anymore, I feel like it would give me a clean slate to not have to monitor myself , pray for strength, read His word for instruction, etc and just basically do "anything" I wanted. As some call use my salvation like" fire insurance".

Thankyou for your heartfelt answers. I believe with all my heart I am born again.....
But I still have to say I know my father sees me as blameless NOW because of him being alpha and omega and time is different to him. He is relating to me as a clean spirit, because of what Christ did for me and the holy spirit guides me .But, I think sin is in my flesh because I STILL live in this body and I will keep on sinning until this life is over and this flesh, this body is gone!. Than my transformation WILL be complete.
This is a journey I am on and being walked out with him on a daily basis and because of that I need to follow His word for my life, to make it better, more peaceful. Not like I am trapped into something horrible, but sin IS in the world now and He wants me to be as protected from it as I can be because He loves me...He is my father, he is also my husband, my head, at the moment being I am unmarried now.
Should I purposely keep on sinning so His grace may abound? Of course not! BUT I also am forgiven by His grace because I DO sin. As Paul hated what he did when he tried so hard not to....He still needed Gods graces for His sin!

This is going to be Hard to believe?
But, I been DEAD both ways.
Thec first time i thought I was saved! I had said the sinners prayer and knew about GOD from childhood. ASs My dad died when I was very young and GOD was a Father to me!
i died and was falling deep into the earth. Knowing i was headed for hell.
I prayed HARD begging the Lord JESUS for Mercy.
i returned to my body.I was shaking so bad and where I had been laying was wet as could be!
I did not change right away.
but after a time. I was alone in my home having gotten married and we had our first child.
i prayed
Trying to make this short?
I asked the LORD to reveal HIMSELF to me and I would follow HIM.
At that moment , I was BORN OF GOD!
I said? GEE LORD so this is Born again.
I will Never forget that moment.
A time later I went into the hospital for tests. They overdosed the whole floor I was on.
This time I died and went to heaven, NEW JERUSALEM .
I ask the LORD could I return for my family's sake.

But I mainly preach about BORN Again , Born of GOD or Born of our Spirit .all the same birth!

Just the thoughts of the time before is still in our outward minds!

I find? When the child Born of God fasts? They see a great difference after 3 full days of fasting on water only.
They will be walking and living in there spirit being.Who gains 100% control of there flesh..
Of course , if not Born of there spirit? They will not see any difference at all.

I had been asleep,I awoke to great peace.Everything was very still.I looked down our hall ,toward the kids room.As i left a night light for them always.Then I heard a sound that filled my ears.It was the sound of rushing water.The HOLY SPIRIT came upon me.It was the most wonderful feeling.It lasted a long time.Then an evil spirit,satan himself entered my room.The HOLY GHOST started leaving me.I was full of fear. I said LORd make him go.HE said ?I can not.I said but LORD ,YOU created the heavens and earth .You can do anything.HE said I can not.You must do this! I said but LORD a only a weak man .HE said YOU MUST.Full of fear .I yelled very loud.GET OUT IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST! He left fast.But I kept saying it over and over. AGAIN! While the HOLY GHOST had come upon me again .And it felt so wonderful.I laid back.I looked at my wife.Wanting her to feel this wonderful feeling.I touch her.know it would be a point of contact. You see stephen ,how they hit HIm with rocks and all the time,he looked toward heaven,he had entered into this rest.No person normally could keep looking up,when being hit and killed by stoning.This new rest is for every child of GOD!But we receive these things by the HOLY GHOST ,though FAITh and love!
You see?many do not receive the many spiritual blessing that are already ours!Because of unbelief!or they want them for the wrong reasons

GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS.one of us is NO GREATER THAN ANOTHER.WE ARE ONE IN THE LORD.If we are to lead others.We MUST SERVE THE OTHERS.BE GOOD FOOT WASHERS,That is my goal!

I also would like to keep this thread focused on Mary but i would like to add this. Believers are indwelt with the Holy Spirit which is incorruptable but we still have our human spirit and obviously our flesh. The human parts of us certainly tempt us to sin and will always be part of us in this life which is why Paul told us to "crucify the flesh" yet even Paul lamented about doing things he did'nt want to do.

Once BORN OF GOD, We have perfect spirits.
Mary also had to have a perfect spirit to enter heaven[New Jerusalem]
Jas 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
This is true as all scripture is true and must all go together perfectly!
The flesh can always sin and will if we allow it.
It also suffers in this life for sin and dies because of it!
But , the Lord as provi9ded healing fior it and even forgiveness for us .if we obey His Word!
We must see the difference between our flesh which dies because of sin.
And our Spirit, once orn of GOD which cannot sin Ever!
Without understanding our beginning? We will not understand much ???
Heb 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Heb 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.
When we read the bible . We must think? is this to my Spirit[eternal part]
or my soul[mind]
or my flesh[body kinda like a car , we use it a while and dump it.
