Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us through Your name.

John 6:66-7 From this time many of His disciples went back into the things behind, and walked no more with Him. Then Jesus said to the Twelve, Do you also wish to go away?

Matthew 7:22-23 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works? And then I will say to them I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness!

Is Jesus referring to those in the 70 that “walked no more with Him” even after His resurrection? If so how does that apply to us 2000 year later? If not to whom is he referring?
